Posted by chriscb in : AIM, Projects , add a commentCongratulations to Maciej Machulak and all the team at Newcastle University who work on the SMART project, for winning Kantara Initiative’s 2011 IDDY (Identity Deployment of the Year) Award in the Emerging Applications category, which showcases innovation in digital identity management.
The SMART (‘Student Managed Access to Online Resources’) project is funded by JISC’s Access & Identity Management Programme. The project is the first Java implementation of the User-Managed Access (UMA) protocol and allows university students to log their preferences about security in a single authorization manager.
