JISC Identity Management Survey April 23, 2012
Posted by chriscb in : AIM , add a commentIn 2010 JISC published the Identity Management Toolkit, designed to help UK FHE institutions improve their Identity Management. The Toolkit built on the earlier work of the JISC-funded Identity Project (www.identity-project.info) and was endorsed by UCISA, RUGIT, ISAF, and JISC InfoNet.
The JISC Identity Management Toolkit Review Project (Feb 12 – July 12) will review and update the original Identity Management Toolkit. The review includes a short questionnaire designed to measure the impact that the Toolkit has had on the UK education community. The IdM Toolkit Review Project will also repeat the national survey of the current state of Identity Management in the UK FHE sector (undertaken by the Identity Project in 2007) to get a view of how things have changed since the previous survey.
JISC Identity Management Survey
We invite you to complete a survey to help assess how UK FHE Identity Management practices have changed since the first survey undertaken by the JISC Identity Project in 2007.
The survey is available in both print and online forms at www.identity-project.org.
The survey should take no longer than 1 hour to complete. Not all questions asked in the survey are compulsory but we would really appreciate it if you could answer as many questions as you can. All answers provided to us in this survey will be treated as confidential, and will only be made generally available as part of summarised statistics. The survey will be available from 2 April – 20 May 2012.
The outcomes of the survey will be used by JISC to guide future policy direction and will influence future developmental work, so your responses are very important.
